Almost to 100 pages with my current project tentatively titled For Finlay. And since the summer is coming and I will be free for two months, I'm hoping to get it finished. Crossing fingers as usual. Right now I'm loving my playlist. Check it out by clicking on either picture:-)

Letitia at RBA Designs was kind enough to give Until Alex a little facelift:-) In preparation for the MASE book signing at Foxwoods on June 4th, she is creating a banner and postcards for me. Thought it would be nice to give all my books the same feel and coloring. Hope everyone likes it!

Eeek! Less than a week before the release of my third book! So excited!!! And so incredibly grateful for all the bloggers who have already read and reviewed it! I'm glad you're liking it! You just never know how a book will resonate when you write it. So I'm happy it is working for so many!

Motivation...

People always say to me, "I don't know how you can think up all those things you put in your books." While it's not always easy to write a book and come up with fresh new ideas, most of my motivation comes from a single idea and then everything else just falls into place based on that idea. I mostly incorporate things I would like to see in a book and then fill in things I've done, seen, or wanted to do. Other times I use places I've been to or wanted to visit. When I write about college campuses, I always visualize URI's campus, since it's where I got my undergraduate degree.

So tonight, while I was on the URI campus getting dinner with my husband and son, I saw my motivation for one of the scenes. Hadley and Caynan share an encounter on a campus quad. Before Hadley leaves, she stands near a blue security light which casts a blue glow around her. Needless to say, when I asked my husband to drive onto the sidewalk of the quad so I could get a picture, I never thought he'd actually do it--with our six year old in the backseat:-)

Just Wait Until You See The Cover...

Yup. The title pretty much says it all. Letitia at RBA Designs has done it again! I can't wait for everyone to see it!!! Caynan is definitely brought to life in all his tortured glory:-) I will spread the word once I book a cover reveal and Before Hadley will soon follow. I'm aiming for late March. Fingers crossed!

Blurb Reveal!

What's worse than a cocky new guy at school? A cocky new guy with a killer body and the attention of the entire female student body. Hadley can tell the minute she lays eyes on Caynan that he's someone to avoid. He may have looks and charm, but he's also got heartbreak written all over his pretty face.

Unfortunately for Hadley, Caynan has his sights set on her. She's the one girl who doesn't want him. The one girl who's turned off by his charm. The one girl who challenges him like no other. And, though she couldn't possibly know the truth about him, she seems to be the one girl who really sees him.

But with Caynan, things aren't at all what they seem. His secrets have secrets and everything out of his mouth straddles the line between truth and fiction. He knows better than to get involved with anyone, especially with his time limited in the new town, but he just can't seem to get Hadley out of his mind. Too bad for him, secrets never remain secrets for long.
